Every Ride Tells A Story

Hey, my name is Isaiah Ellis. I’m 17 years old and proud to be the host of The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast. I’m a team roper from Jay, Florida, and one of 12 rodeo kids in my family. We’ve been part of the rodeo world for over six years, and I’ve loved every step of the journey.

As a competitor, I rope at the high school level and also step up into the Professional Cowboys Association, going head-to-head with pro-level cowboys. I’m currently a Smarty Rodeo Young Pro, where I’ve had the opportunity to attend the Young Pro Camp at Tarleton College, and I’m hoping to work my way up through the Smarty Rodeo program.

In 2023–2024, I was honored to serve as a RodeoKids Ambassador, which gave me the chance to travel to Las Vegas with the RodeoKids team during the Vegas Tuffest Youth Series. It was also through RodeoKids that I first got introduced to podcasting — something that quickly grew into a passion of mine.

Outside of rodeo and podcasting, I serve as a worship leader in my church youth group. I also travel to a different church about three Sundays a month to lead worship for our children’s home, which has been an incredible way to share my faith through music.

I’m beyond thankful for the chance to start The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast in October 2024. The support I’ve received and the incredible guests I’ve been able to interview have been a blessing, and I know this is just the beginning. There are so many exciting things ahead—not just for me, but for the future of this podcast.
