Hey, my name is Isaiah Ellis. I’m 18 years old and the host of The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast. I’m a team roper from Jay, Florida, and one of 12 rodeo kids in my family. Rodeo has been a big part of my life for over six years, and it’s shaped who I am both in and out of the arena.
I’ve competed at the high school level and have also had the opportunity to rope alongside experienced cowboys through the Professional Cowboys Association. I’m a part of the Smarty Rodeo Young Pro Alumni Program, which played an important role in my growth as a competitor and person. That chapter helped build a strong foundation, and I’m thankful for the lessons and relationships that came from it. This year, I’m also a Priefert Junior Elite member, which has been another great opportunity to continue learning and growing within the industry.
In 2023–2024, I served as a RodeoKids Ambassador, which allowed me to travel with the RodeoKids team to Las Vegas during the Vegas Toughest Youth Series. It was also through RodeoKids that I was first introduced to podcasting, something that quickly turned into a passion and led to the creation of The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast.
Outside of rodeo and podcasting, I work in development, helping support long-term growth and behind-the-scenes efforts. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I strive to honor God in my work, my relationships, and the way I carry myself, both in and out of the arena.
I also serve as a worship leader in my church youth group and travel with a children’s home to different churches several Sundays each month to lead worship and share what God is doing through that ministry. Being able to serve others and use music as a way to point people to Christ has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life.
I launched The Ramblin’ Rodeo Podcast in October 2024, and I’m grateful for the support, conversations, and guests that have already been a part of it. I trust that God has a purpose for this platform, and I’m excited to see where He leads it next.
